Varsity exemplifies the Great American story. It was started in 1957 by a small group of "college" guys, earning their way through college and supporting their wives and children. Before graduation they were awarded a few janitorial contracts, one being a Bell System building. Within a few years of graduation, they converted their part time business into a future. Its founder, Don Aslett, Chairman of the Board, was soon joined by Arlo Luke, now CEO. Mark Browning, now President, joined them soon after. All are on the board of directors.

A lot of dedication and hard work coupled with a great vision of the future built an international facility service company from a local housecleaning team. We started with the roots of greatness—high values, strong culture, the acquisition of great people who shared these values and vision. Most important was the passion and commitment for customer service and excellence.

We learned Total Facilities Services from flagship names such as: The Bell System, Sun Valley Ski Resort, Qwest Communications, Simon Properties, CB Richard Ellis, Anheuser-Busch, Hewlett-Packard, Washington Mutual Bank, and many others.

We taught "The Importance of One, the Power of Many" in dealing with our people, and "We Deliver Peace of Mind and Repeatable Success" in dealing with our customers.
